In 2006 Ashton Custom Homes became an award winning builder as acknowledged by the Calgary Regional Home Builders Association. Ashton was thrilled to add SAM Awards to its list of achievements; capturing a 2006 Sam Award for Best Custom Home, for their first show home in Coopers Crossing, “The Ashley” and a five time SAM finalist in 2007 for their show home, “The Giovanni” as well as awards for 3 other private residences. 2008 also saw Ashton winning SAM awards.

In 2009, at the provincial level, Ashton was recognized by the Canadian Home Builders Association-Alberta as a Finalist for the prestigious Ralph Scurfield Builder of the Year Award as well as receiving 2 Best Custom Home Awards.

The 2009 Calgary SAM awards were a pinnacle event for Ashton Custom Homes. Ashton received its first ever Grand SAM Award for Builder of Merit which is similar to Builder of the Year but for small volume builders. This award, along with the 4 other Best Custom Home Awards Ashton received that night, validate the passion and pride that Tony has always put into building his homes. It was an exciting accomplishment for Ashton; it visibly defined our commitment and dedication to our customers and validated the fulfillment we get from building outstanding homes.
